The New Formuler Z10 SE is a New 4K Media Streamer ready for AV1

The Formuler Z10 SE is a new 4K media streamer powered by Realtek RT1319 SoC that supports AV1 support, the device has only 4GB eMMC storage, Wi-fi 2.4G 802.11n and Android 10 OS witch an afordable price.

Formuler Z10 SE Overview Features

The Formuler Z10 SE is a new media streamer based on the RTD1319 SoC (Quad-core Arm Cortex A55 processor with Mali-G31 GPU) after the Z10 Pro and Z10 Pro Max. In addition to 4K 10-bit 60fps AV1 / H.265 decoding supports also 4K HDR, HDR10+, HLG. Device run on Android 10 OS.

After a small housing (88x88x17mm) we find 2GB RAM DDR4 and 4GB eMMC storage. Additionally, the media streamer can be expanded with additional storage via USB, RJ45 (Z10 SE also supports NAS client).

The home screen on Formuler Z10 SE is not cluttered with any advertisements making it easy to find and start your favorite apps and contents. Device has preinstalled cutting-edge TV Platform called MYTVOnline2. The application allows you to watch IPTV content, supports multi-screen Picture-in-Picture (PiP), Smart Digital Video Recording, Video-on-Demand, advanced PVR recording and timeshifting.

Z10 SE media streamer supports also 2.4G 1T1R 802.11n WiFi, Fast Ethernet, but no Bluetooth. The device has only one USB port (perhaps USB 3.0), RJ45, HDMI port, IR Extension, and 12V/12 DC jack.

Device is shipped with IR remote control, HDMI cable, Power adapter, batteries, quick setup guide. Z10 SE android media player supports external USB (ATSC / DVB-T) Over-the-Air Tuner (sold separately). 

The suggested price is €99. Is this an affordable price? Well, the price may be a deterrent considering the features of the Z10 SE. However, there will always be a target group for whom this solution will be beneficial.
