The new PULSe mini 4k

The Slovak brand AB recently launched to the market the new PULSe mini 4K a equipment made for SAT/Cable and streaming powered by Enigma2.

Network, storage, RAM and ports

The Pulse mini 4K receiver has a built-in EMMC memory like 8GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, USB 2.0 ports and USB 3.0 port. In this aspect, comment that receiver flash is partitioned to locate enigma2 (we can install several different images in diferent partitions), which is called initialized. For Internet connection, it has a 10/100mbs Ethernet port connector. Storage: 8GB internal emmc, expandable by USB or SD card Ram: Total 1gb ddr4, of which about 200 megabytes are reserved for enigma2.

Performance

In terms of power, the Pulse mini 4K has great performance thanks to its 4-core Hisilicon processor and 1GB of RAM, CPU Performance : Min. 0.400 GHz / Max. 1.6 GHz.

Management and configuration

In terms of reproduction, we have excellent image quality and no jumps even on 4K channels, the zapping between channels is fast and we can access all functions without any problems, Image and Audio Quality: Up to 4K in playback and recording, support AC3 sound, automatic channel search: Time 7 minutes 55 seconds, Supports PIP, A point in favor of Pulse 4K and AB Pulse mini 4K is that the change of resolution to HDR is done automatically by the receivers, which is not the case with other models. In video playback, SDR are related to most formats, hdr10, hlg, except DOLBY VISION.

Tuner:

The new Pulse mini 4K comes with 1 fixed DVB-S/S2/S2X tuner but it´s possible to add another Plug & Play tuner like a dual DVB-C/T2 or another DVB-S/S2/S2X tuner.
