[DEAL]: Beelink GT-King TV Box only 99.51€/$109.99

Beelink GT-King is one of the best alternatives to nVidia Shield TV, it´equipped with the high-performance Amlogic S922X Hexa-core, that includes Dolby DTS certifications and also includes a 32bit DAC, 4GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB of ROM powered by Android 9.0 and much more.
The Amlogic S922X-H hexa-core big.LITTLE processor with 4x Arm Cortex A73 cores @ up to 2.21GHz, 2x Arm Cortex A53 cores @1.8 GHz with the Arm Mali-G52MP6 GPU with 12nm manufacturing process that has equipped a whole generation of TV-Box. Because it is fast and powerful in video decoding, well supported and able to read all types of video and audio formats.
The S922X-H would like to take over with more performance but also new decoding features. It is a SoC composed of 6 hearts and engraved in 12 nanometers. Four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and two Cortex-A53 at 1.9 GHz. These are ARM creations assembled by Amlogic without alterations of the original design of the brand. Associated with this base, we find an ARM Mali-G52 MP6 circuit that offers great possibilities in terms of 3D. It is OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.0 compatible with excellent Android support.
The video part is obviously very neat and that's where all the work of Amlogic is concentrated. The VPU is an Amlogic Video Engine (AVE-10) that offers a wide range of compatibilities and formats. The chip can decode UltraHD videos in H.264 / H.265 with compatibility HDR, HDR10 and HDR10 + but also in Dolby Vision and various other formats.
The chip handle´s 4K formats at 60 frames per second and second this skill with good support for audio functions: Management of DTS and Dolby Audio for example. The solution offers two DAC ESS 9108 to manage the stereo which makes the box compatible with the DTS Listen format.
To drive this SoC, the Beelink GT-King has an Android 9.0 supported by 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC storage. An SDXC card reader is also present to add storage to the heart of the machine. Too bad that Beelink did not offer PCIe support to extend the storage of the solution, the Amlogic chip is compatible. Probably a story of cost.
We can find a Wifi5, Bluetooth 4.2 and a fairly complete connectivity: three USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 OTG port, a Gigabit Ethernet, a serial port, an HDMI 2.0 output with HDCP management, and an audio jack output.
Difficult to understand this choice of a serial port on this consumer machine especially since the brand has disappeared optical S / PDIF digital audio output of the previous model that would have been much more useful here. To enjoy the 7.1 sound of the machine, it will therefore rely on the HDMI output.
The Beelink GT-King comes with a remote control compatible with voice commands to control the Android 9 provided. We can control the TV Box in a traditional way but also dictate orders or research including tools like Kodi. Note the presence of an infrared sensor on the front to control the TV box with an external remote control.
The new Beelink GT-King it´s powered by Android 9.0 and also it´s possible to install CoreELEC, That means you should be able to download CoreELEC and flash it to a MicroSD card to run either Android 9.0 from the eMMC flash or CoreELEC on the SD card.

The Beelink GT-King TV Box can be purchased at Gearbest for 99.51€/$109.99 including shipping.
