JBL Link Bar: a sound bar with Android TV and Google Assistant

Soon the Google I/O event will begin, where we will have the presentation of the new Google devices and services, and today we have a first filtration of one of the products that we will see, it is the JBL Link Bar sound  bar . A device that through an HDMI connector to our TV allows us to use the Android TV system and the Google Assistant system , a good all-in-one concept between audio system and TV-Box with integrated Android TV.
This new sound bar comes with Android TV 8 Oreo , and will have a fairly modern hardware, perhaps a variant of TV-Box with one of the new SoC of Amlogic . In the sound bar as we see we have the icon of Google Assistant with which we can give orders by voice or launch audio or video content directly on screen, presumably we also have Chromecast to play content remotely.

The power of the bar has a Max power of 30W, has woofer and dual integrated tweet, has four HDMI outputs (one HDMI audio ARC), audio jack connector and Ethernet port, optical audio output and button sintronization a USB connector Type-C service. It will also have Wifi ac and Bluetooth, it is expected to be available in the fall .

We still do not know the specifications and price of this model but according to the words of Google regarding this product is one of the first models that we will see in this sector , so possibly in the Google I/O we will see more devices with this type of concept between Assistant integrated into a speaker and Android TV environment. It seems that Google wants to compete in all areas with Amazon that will soon present its Amazon Fire TV Cube that integrates speaker with Amazon Alexa and Fire OS multimedia system.
