The new Nokia Streaming Box 8010 (Google Certified/Dolby Vision/AV1)

 

Nokia Streaming Box 8010 is the lattest streamer from Nokia, it´s the successor to the popular Streaming Box 8000. This new player is powered by the Amlogic S905X4-K SoC, 4GB RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage, AV1 decoding, WiFi 6, and supports Dolby Vision & Atmos, and it´s now available for around €130.

Overview Features:

Nokia Streaming Box 8010 is powered by the Amlogic S905X4-K SoC (Quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 with ARM-G31 MP2 GPU), 4GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. Also supports the same features. In addition to support for 4K AV1 decoding also supports HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and interestingly Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos,  Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS HD and runs on Android TV 11 OS.

The equipment is certified by Google, so it can play 4K Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and many others. Also supports Chromecast and Google Assistant. In addition, the new Nokia streaming media player supports Dual Band 802.11ax WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. 

The Nokia Streaming Box 8010 comes with a different voice remote control. It is known from the previous voice remote model with a backlight and also with dedicated quick access buttons. 

By the way, StreamView is a European company located in Austria, which has a license of the Nokia brand for Smart TVs, Set-Top-Boxes, and DAB+ radios for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
