The new MECOOL KT1 (SoC S905X4/Android TV/Satellite tuner/AV1)

the new MECOOL KT1 is now available, it´s a powerfull new tvbox equiped with the new and powerfull Amlogic S905X4 SoC, also adds a DVB-T2 TV tuner that works in the EMEA region, some Asian countries, Oceania, and a few other countries that adopted the standard.

The configuration of this new version of the MECOOL KT1 repeats Android TV 10 certified by Google as an operating system with Chromecast integrated and hardware with the Amlogic S905X4-B SoC with native support of the AV1 codec  and certified for Dolby Audio.

This variant with DVB-S / S2 tuner includes EPG, PVR recording and we suppose that some hidden menu from where to activate some extra function.

SoC, RAM and storage:

The MECOOL KT1 Box   includes the AMlogic S905X4-B SoC  ,  a Quad Core manufactured in  12 nm  with   low consumption ARM Cortex-A55 processors that theoretically reach 2 GHz of speed and integrates a  Mali-G31 MP2 GPU . The  VPU  includes HDR, HDR10 and HLG support and this "B" variant of the SoC is certified for Dolby audio.

This Box has 2 GB  of DDR3 RAM memory  ,  16 GB of eMMc storage memory and a micro SD card reader to expand the storage.

In the field of wireless connectivity we have in this Mecool  Wifi aC Dual band  with  Bluetooth 4.2 . The connectors included in the plastic box are an antenna input for satellite, USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0 , AV connector, an RJ45  Ethernet 10/100  and an HDMI 2.1 video  output .

It also includes a Bluetooth remote control with a microphone with which we can use the Android TV assistant.
