Xiaomi presented alongside smartphones during the long-awaited March conference, also known as Mega Launch We 11 Pro or Mi 11 Ultra and a very interesting router Mi AX9000. It is the most powerful router from the Chinese giant, which comes with three bands. One of them is dedicated to players.
Features of Xiaomi AX9000 Router:
The router comes with the design of a futuristic design with customising lighting effect. With the two pairs of heatsinks, it uses a quiet and low-noise fan on top and bottom. Even there is an exhaust air duct which helps to dissipate the heat.
The new Xiaomi AX9000 router is designed with dual-band Wi-Fi 6 technology. The similar one we get in the Xiaomi Mi Ax6000 router. The difference between the two is the new one comes with the separate 5G e-sport frequency band. The band will keep both the bands apart and will not let them interfere with each other.
Until now, Xiaomi had dual-band routers in its portfolio that supported 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Xiaomi router Mi AX9000 comes with another belt for players and ranks among the so-called. tri-band router. The 2.4 GHz band, which also includes AIoT, offers a maximum flow rate of 1731 Mbps, the 5 GHz band handles 2402 Mbps, and third, 5 GHz also offers up to 4804 Mbps.
Like other Xiaomi router, Mi AX9000 runs MiWiFi smart router operating system based on OpenWrt with WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE security, Wireless access control, and a control interface available via a browser or Android/iOS MiWiFi app. The router ships with a 12V/4A power adapter, one Ethernet cable, and a user manual.
The AX9000 router has up to 12 signal amplifiers (Power Amplifier - PA) and 8 external antennas, which are designed in four pairs. Each pair has 3 amplifiers inside. In terms of bandwidth, compared to the AX3000 series models, where we had 4 x 4 80 Mhz, the AX9000 router offers 4 x 4 160 Mhz.
We will also find support for technologies such as MU-MIMO or OFDMA and a powerful processor from Qualcomm. On the back there are four LAN ports as well USB port 3.0. The router also has an active cooler. The design of the router itself, which has an X-shaped LED backlight on the top, is also very interesting.
