The New VU+ DUO 4K SE

VU+ has just announced the new VU+ DUO 4K SE, a new equipment dedicated for the reception of Digital satellite UHDTV, HDTV and radio programs. This new equipment is powered by an ARM Quad-Core processor also comes equipped with the latest DVB-S2 FBC twin tuner and the new DVB-C FBC tuner and much more »
The heart of the VU + Duo 4K SE is a 1.5ghz ARM Quad-Core processor with 3GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM, Gigabit LAN (10/100/1000 MBit / s) connection, WLAN: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ac 2.4/5 GHz integrated, BT 4.1, 2x USB 3.0 (rear) and 1x USB 2.0 (front), 2x DVB common interface slot (simultaneous use possible) and 1x smart card reader (Xcrypt), 1 HDMI 2.0 output and 1 HDMI 2.0 input.

A DVB-S2 FBC twin tuner has 8 demodulators.

With two conventional (eg twin LNB) satellite feed lines, the tuner can be compared with 2 conventional and 6 additional tuners that work in loop-through mode. You can watch, stream or record channels from 8 different transponders from 2 different satellite levels at the same time. In SCR (Unicable) mode with 8 frequencies, this corresponds to 8 conventional tuners.

What is a DVB-C FBC tuner?

A DVB-C FBC tuner has 8 demodulators. This corresponds to a receiver with 8 conventional DVB-C tuners. You can watch, stream or record 8 stations at the same time.
