Wetek is gething ready to launch the new Wetek Play +, based on Amlogic S905-H quad-core CPU, equipped with DVB-S/S2, DVB-C/T/T2, ISDB-T and ATSC tuners, a smartcard reader, and an extra store with an half-size SSD slot. The new Amlogic S905-H supports 4K 10-bit HEVC DVB-S2 streams, DTS and Dolby audio downmix to Stereo on any apps. The Box will run Android 5.1 and also Openelec.

In the DRM department, the new Wetek Play + comes with HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0a.
