Zidoo teases us with a brand new Android TV box, the Zidoo X10 powered by the quad-core Realtek RTD1295 processor with full support for Premium 4K UHD contents. It brings access to a wider color spectrum (BT.2020) and a 10-bit color, amounting to 1.06 billion colors, instead of the 16 million offered by older 8-bit color technologies, therefore, the gradations between shades and different tones on onscreen content present a far greater degree of realism.
HDMI 2.0a added HDR(High-Dynamic Range) support based on HDMI 2.0. HDR provided far more detailed picture and expands the dynamic range to reach a true vision effect. Additionally, ZIDOO X10 supports both decoding and encoding of 4K@60P HEVC(h.265)10bit.
Aside from the support for Blu-Ray navigation, it hosts an intetnal 3.5″ SATA HDD Bay for additional storage. A small cutout at the back of the case indicates the existance of an active cooling fan, which makes sense if you’ve got a 3.5″ HDD installed.
Zidoo X10 is more than a simple Android TV box, as it activates NAS function via OpenWrt running simultaneously with Android 6.0 . 2GB DDR3 RAM makes games running smoothly and the application of eMMC memory offers a vast array of benefits in terms of performance security and reliability.
With the Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11ac dual band WIFI supporting 2.4G and 5G, 5dB Double antenna. ZIDOO X10 can provide reliable network access with high data rates. Furthermore, the Bluetooth 4.0 module allows connection to your BT speakers, Keyboard, Mouse and many more.
ZIUI is a a launcher that blends in a series of custom components, including a file manager, a NAS kit, a feature-rich player with powerful subtitle supports and OTA service based on the global CDN cloud.
