HiSilicon Hi3796M V200, a new SoC which supports 4K, HDR10 and Dolby Vision

From Hisilicon do not stop with the development of new SoC for the TV Box and these days has been seen in the Hall Broadcast Asia the new HiSilicon Hi3796M V200 chip the heir of HiSilicon Hi3796M V100 that we have already seen in the TV review -Box like the  U4 Quad Hybrid . Like its predecessor this chip is oriented to entry-level equipment although the improvements are substantial as in the processors they move from the old ARM Cortex-A7 to some ARM Cortex-A53 and includes several improvements in terms of video playback While maintaining its support for DVB-T2 tuners and we assume DVB-S2.

HiSilicon Hi3796M V200 is a Quad Core with TrustZone that includes ARM Cortex-A53 cores with a MALI-450mp GPU where we find a HEVC 2.0 VPU capable of processing 4K UHD video at 60fps with support for HDR-HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision between others. The SoC includes support for DDR3 and DDR4 memory, for HDMI 2.0a, Gigabit Ethernet, 2 USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, SATA 3.0 and PCIe 2.0, although these three interfaces will probably share the same data channel.

HiSilicon Hi3796M V200 comes to the latest in software as it comes with standard support for Android 7.0 and Linux. Soon on their next generation screens.
